Oddventure Year

The commencement of 2021 marks an Oddventure Year. On each odd year, my friend Molly and I set out for an odd adventure. We are both sporty girls that like a challenge and a goal, yet we equally enjoy the experience and the journey. She’s a perfect oddventure buddy! 

In 2017 we hiked the Grand Canyon rim to river to rim. We liked it so much, in 2019 we hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim. My dad came along and served as our chauffeur. We met in Las Vegas, went to a pinball arcade, rode mules, celebrated Molly’s birthday with a nice meal at the Grand Canyon Lodge, and did the big hike. It was a great trip! This year we will do something different.  

I enjoy the challenge of the training. Without a clear goal, I drift with my exercise and activities; but with one I get laser focused. It’s so gratifying. Possibly, even more fun is picking the adventure and working out the logistics and welcoming friends along. So… any ideas?
