Pandemic Productivity

It’s been about six weeks since the U.S. went on semi-lock down in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. In some ways this pandemic has been strange and eerie, in most ways my life has not changed much. I live simply and happily, responsible for only myself and a few plants. I would love to have a dog, but when all is normal, I travel fairly often which presents a dog-owner dilemma. I digress.

I have been exceptionally fortunate to maintain my technical writing job working full-time from home like normal. The few things I miss are the gym, my regular massages, and the occasional social outing with friends. In the meantime, I ramped up the hiking, smear a lot of Bengay on my muscles as a weak substitute for a massage, and socialize with a stack of reading materials and a neighbor who has kept me sane. I’ve picked up a few unusual habits, like humming to myself and spending way too much money on gossip magazines. Other than that, my extra time has been focused on continued editing and building this website. Ta-da! I hope you like it.

I must say, all things considered, I am doing just fine, but gosh, I am ready for a massage.
