Published—What Next?

It is done! A Most Improbable Millionaire is now published. This has been a six-year project that started as an experiment. When I began this biography of Jim Schmit, I knew I could write, but completing a book has eluded me despite several attempts.  

Until now, that is. I am very proud, and a little overwhelmed by the next step = selling the book. It is now my responsibility to market it. How do I make it stand out? I’m not entirely sure—I prefer the writing over the selling. Fortunately, Jim agreed to help with the ladder. After all, he was the top real estate salesman of the year once-upon-a-time. 

The first step is our book launch event in San Clemente on October 9, 2021. Join us, and Jim’s best friend Rick Barry (Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame) at Cars and Coffee from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the San Clemente Outlet mall. Then from 1:00 – 3:00 pm we will be at the San Clemente Community Center. Drop by for a chat, buy a book, get it signed, enter a prize drawing, check out the new Doval Shadow (cover car—only 18 made), meet Gidget, and collect a Rick Barry autograph.
